I would most certainly recommend this hotel. The managers and staff made me and my husband feel like we were more than just a guest. Nothing was too much to ask, and all the service was provided with a smile. It is dog friendly, so you don't have to leave your best friend behind. The rooms are spacious, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel means it's a short drive to explore lots of shopping options. We're already talking of planning a return visit.

On face value, this hotel looks fantastic. The room is stayed in was big, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the surroundings very picturesque. The biggest let down though was the food and dinner service. I was a sole diner but still had a long wait for my food after placing my order. And the food was very low standard. I had a sirloin steak which was claimed to be locally sourced. It definitely wasn't a high quality steak. The accompanying chips and onion rings were not fresh prepared, and seemed like something out of an air fryer. And at £30, it really was disappointing. It has the makings to be a fantastic little hotel, but the dining experience is a huge let down - or it was for me anyway.

We visit crossways whenever we are in the area, absolutely love it. Always welcomed by the staff, got to know a lot of them personally. Ample parking, they all make a fuss of the dog too. Food is outstanding, never had a bad meal yet. Good value for money.

This is a really lovely hotel. It's out in the sticks so it's really peaceful and quiet. The balcony outside has fantastic views over Somerset to Glastonbury tor and beyond. All of the stuff were absolutely wonderful and helped us out of a real sticky spot when a taxi let us down. They're really friendly, really quick to help and couldn't do enough to make their guests' stay and experience to remember. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Parking is free and plentiful and there are some charging points for electric cars. The food was very good indeed. Simply a lovely experience. Really enjoyed ourselves, and I love your sense of humour! Thank you, Crossways!

Haven't been here for years but had the carvery today and will be returning soon. Great value for money. The trio of meat was cooked wonderfully, very generous helpings and a very good gravy. I'm still nursing my food baby. The terrace, with the views over the levels to Glastonbury Tor, is the perfect spot to have a drink after feasting on the carvery.

I had an amazing experience at The Crossways! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. But what really made the visit special was our waiter, Spencer. He was absolutely excellent — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Spencer made sure everything was perfect and genuinely enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend this place, especially if you get Spencer as your server!

My husband and I recently held our baby shower event here at the crossways hotel and the service we recieved was nothing short of exceptional! We met with the food and beverages manager privately prior to the event and he listened to our every request. We were given exclusive access to one of the their beautifully decorated dining rooms and were able to decorate it how we wished. The staff on the day were amazing too, they provided water jugs for the tables and cleared away all the plates in a timely manner. They even cut our cake up for us and presented it on boards with plates and cutlery. The Crossways' outstanding service helped make our baby shower an unforgetable and enjoyable experience with our friends and family. Thank you for having us!

I am writing a well-overdue review for our wonderful stay at The Crossways. We made a last-minute decision to book a night away and arranged our stay directly with the hotel. The booking process was lovely — easy, friendly and very attentive. It’s also worth booking directly if you want the best deal. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was possibly the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully comfortable and had the most fabulous view, with Glastonbury Tor visible in the distance — such a special sight to wake up to. The team had very kindly placed a lovely bottle of wine in the room after I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel extra special. We enjoyed drinks in the bar before dinner — the Bloody Mary was particularly fun and memorable! We also dined in the restaurant where the food was lovely, and the following morning we had an excellent breakfast which set us up perfectly for our adventure at Wookey Hole Caves, which I would highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. All in all, it was a really enjoyable stay. The atmosphere, the views and the thoughtful hospitality made it a memorable visit. We would highly recommend The Crossways and look forward to returning
